Free Online Baseball Tools for Coaches, Players, and Fans

I founded Baseball-Calculators.com so I could build a collection of free online baseball tools for coaches, players, and fans. These tools are designed to be simple and easy to use. No complex, clumsy software. No need to sign-up. There’s no login, no password, no fees. You just pull out your phone and these tools are ready to use during practice or a game. Enjoy!

Batting Practice Tracker

This is our batting practice tool. It is gridded into 12 zones so you can chart Left, Center, Right, and Popup, Fly Ball, Line Drive, and Ground Ball. This tool totals hits and shows a percentage breakdown for each zone and also outputs batted ball rates like line drive rates, fly ball rates, and ground ball rates so you can track performance. Click here to view this batting practice tool.

Skill-Based Lineup Optimizer Tool

This is our skill-based baseball lineup optimizer. You enter skill levels for players and this lineup optimizer outputs an optimal lineup using our StatIQ technology. This is perfect for coaches that don’t know the exact stats of their players, but still want to build an optimal lineup. If you do know the stats, we also have a stat-based lineup builder (scroll down). Click here to view this skill-based lineup generator.

Stat-Based Lineup Optimizer Tool

Just like our skill-based lineup optimizer above, this is our stat-based baseball lineup optimizer. The difference here is you actually input the stats of players and the tool outputs an optimal lineup using our StatIQ technology. Use this to design optimal lineups throughout the season. Gameday Pitching Tracker Tool

I created this online pitching log as a simple, easy way to track pitching performance in real time from a mobile device (you can, of course, use it on other devices also). You can log pitch type, velocity, and pitch result all in real time. There is a print function and a copy function so you can analyze and print results. Click here to view this pitching tracker.

Batted Ball Stat Tracker for Pitchers

This is a batted ball tracker for pitchers. It has 12 zones so you can chart left, center, right, for Fly ball, Line Drive, Ground Ball, and Popup. So, if a batted ball results in a flyball to center, you’d hit the plus button in the Flyball Center zone. This tool allows coaches and pitchers to track batted ball rates and see zone percentage breakdowns. Click here to view this batted ball tracker.

Pitch Counter Tool

This is a simple pitch counter that a coach or player can use during a game or practice. It also has a balls and strikes counter. Use this as a simple way to track pitch count – the data is designed to save even if you accidentally hit page refresh on mobile. Click here to view this pitch counter.

Home/Road Pitch Counter Tool

Similar to the tool above, this tool track pitch count – only this tool is for tracking both home and road team pitch count at the same time. This may be useful for certain youth leagues that demand pitch count to be tracked by scorekeepers or for coaches who like to track how their team’s pitch count compares to the opponent. Click here to view this home road pitch counter.

Umpire Clicker Tool

Are you umpiring and forgot your clicker? If so, then use our free online umpire clicker that tracks balls, strikes, outs, and innings. The data will save even if you accidentally hit page refresh. This umpire clicker can also be used for scorekeepers or by coaches during simulated games during practice. Click here to view this umpire clicker.

Stopwatch for Coaches

This is a simple stopwatch tool that coaches can use during practice or a game to measure things such as time to first, catcher pop time, pitcher delivery time, pitcher pick-off speed, and various other situational things. It is designed to save the last 5 stop times and last 5 lap times. Click here to view this stopwatch.

Large Selection of Stat Calculators

We offer a wide variety of stat calculators for hitting, pitching, and fielding statistics. These stat calculators give you an easy place to plug-in data to get updated stats.
