Uses for this Baseball Stopwatch
Track a Pitcher’s Time to Home Plate
You can use this online baseball stopwatch to track a pitcher’s delivery time to home plate. Base stealers use this time to decide when to take off, and coaches use it to see if a pitcher is too slow in holding runners.
Measure How Long an Inning Takes
Use this stopwatch to track the time of innings. Fast innings mean efficiency, while longer innings may suggest pitching struggles or too many baserunners.
Time a Player Running to First Base
You can use this free baseball stopwatch to measure how fast a batter gets from home plate to first base. This helps players and coaches track speed and improve reaction time out of the batter’s box.
Track a Catcher’s Pop Time
Use this stopwatch to track a catcher’s pop time, which is the time from the moment the pitch hits the catcher’s glove to the moment the intended fielder is projected to receive his throw at the center of the base.
Improve Practice Drills
You can use this free baseball timer to track speed and efficiency during practice. Whether timing sprints, infield drills, or batting cage reps, keeping time helps players improve their game.
Track Conditioning and Sprint Drills
A stopwatch helps track sprint times and conditioning exercises. Coaches can use this data to measure improvements in speed and endurance.
Save and Compare Pitching Times
Use the save function to track a pitcher’s delivery time over multiple throws. Comparing saved times helps determine consistency and shows if adjustments are needed.
Use the Lap Function
The lap function allows tracking multiple events in the same session. Coaches use this to measure time between pitches, track lead-offs, or compare different parts of a baserunning sequence.
This Baseball Stopwatch Is Free to Use
This online baseball stopwatch is free to use. There is no need to buy a stopwatch or download an app. Open it in a browser, start the timer, and track time. Coaches, players, and parents can all use this stopwatch anytime. Another free tool we offer is this online pitch counter.
